Some people just can’t drive. That’s just a plain fact; it’s not discrimination, and it doesn’t necessarily involve alcohol or drugs. Some people don’t have the required understanding of spatial relationships, speed and yes, reflexes required to drive a car. Or rather, they can drive, but they’ll crash more often than others. Is this the case with Lindsay Lohan? As benefits her celebrity status, LiLo drives sweet cars, most recently a 2011 Porsche Panamera 4S. With 400 horsepower, a 175 mile per hour top speed and a 4.6 seconds 0-60 time, it’s not a car for the faint of heart or for those that just have terrible baseline driving skills, and unfortunately, Lindsay Lohan has proven that she can’t really drive.
Now, the question is, with her history of terrible driving, intoxication, accidents and yes, hit and runs, why would any self-respecting car company rent her a car? Yep, you guessed right: publicity! Here I am, talking about this actress and her Porsche. Mission accomplished. Expensive, and doomed to end in a screaming, screeching pile of sheared metal, but well done!
So THAT’s what the crumpled front end of a $96,000 car looks like! I’ve always wondered! Seriously, Lindsay Lohan is such a danger to herself and others behind the wheel that the insurance company covering her performance in her latest movie expressly forbade her to drive during production, but that didn’t stop her, oh no! She managed to plow her expensive Porsche in the back of a truck on the Pacific Coast Highway, and then had the gall to blame “failing brakes’ for the accident, when we all know she was most likely powdering her nose… Needless to say, never ones to have their good name sullied, Porsche did their own tests of the brakes of the car, and they came back still functional, even after the accident…
Now that she’s crashed her Porsche Panamera 4S, the only question is what’s the next vehicle that will feature in the next Lindsay Lohan car wreck, because you know it’s coming!
