List of Lincoln Cars
Lincoln, founded in 1917 by Henry M. Leland, is now the luxury badge of automotive manufacturing giant Ford. Initially founded to produce aircraft engines, it started manufacturing automobiles after the end of the First World War, and was purchased by Ford in 1922, from whom it was already purchasing engine parts. It operated more or less independently until 1940. Its more famous models include the Town Car and of course, the Continental, which has been in production for over 50 years, with some interruptions.
