List of Wolseley Cars

Wolseley LogoWolseley Motors Limited was once the largest car manufacturing company in Great Britain. Founded in 1901 by the Vickers armament combine, it offered a complete range of cars, from simply expensive to extremely so. It was bought in 1927 by William Morris, who incorporated it into his automobile empire. It eventually ended up owned by British Leyland, who let the name die in 1975. There had not been an original Wolseley car since before the Second World War, however, all its most recent products were nothing more than a badge on someone else’s product.
